Biography
Ilya Kryukov has graduated from St. Petersburg University (Russia) specializing in sound engineering. He has worked with eminent professors including V.G. Dinov, S.G. Shugal, I.A. Aldoshina, N.I. Dvorak and gained invaluable knowledge in recording arts. Ilya Kryukov specializes in recording classical compositions (from solo to large symphony orchestras and choruses). His principle to record the sound as close as human ear perceives it in live performances without artificial enhancements. In addition, Ilya is engaged in recording audio for tele-film production in stereo and surround sound.
Since the age of 9, he began to study music at the Shubin Music School in the class of button accordion led by V. Kuznetsov. Ilya graduated from the Baiseitova Music College for Gifted Children in the accordion class of A. Abdullaev, and Kazakh National Conservatory where he studied with professor A.M. Gaisin. Ilya Kryukov is a winner of prestigious national and international competitions including Kurmangazy International Competitions in Almaty and Atyrau, International Accordion Competition in Castelfidardo, Italy and many others.
